Career transition educators know that a career assessment is one of the fundamental building blocks of any successful career transition. Why are they so important? Because they reveal so much. We like to think we know ourselves, but that isn't always true. Often times the results can suggest new possibilities or even an entirely new career trajectory. Even when we do "know ourselves" we routinely struggle when asked to convey it in the form of a resume, cover letter or interview. A career assessment can help clarify your career goals and help you fit them into the proper industry.
